Upcoming UN Opportunity: CSW Communications Procedure – Submission Deadline 1 August 2026
Submission Deadline: 1 August 2026
The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) invites individuals and organizations to submit communications concerning injustice and discriminatory practices against women in any country. Eligible communications received by 1 August 2026 will be considered as part of the Commission’s 2027 session, scheduled to take place from 8–19 March 2027.
The CSW Communications Procedure provides a confidential mechanism for raising awareness of patterns of discrimination and violations affecting women. Communications must clearly identify the Member State concerned, as submissions are transmitted confidentially to the respective government for its response.
Please note that the Communications Procedure does not determine the merits of individual cases and does not provide legal remedies or redress for individual complaints. Rather, it serves as a mechanism to inform the Commission’s work and promote greater attention to issues affecting women’s rights.
Individuals and organizations intending to submit communications are encouraged to carefully review the official guidance and submission requirements before applying.
For further information, eligibility criteria, and submission procedures, please visit the official UN Women webpage on the CSW Communications Procedure.
